It turns out that starring in a hit HBO show doesn’t guarantee as much time to party as a rock star.
“Euphoria” star Sidney Sweeney has revealed that her wallet doesn’t justify after a break to enjoy the lush life.
“If I want to take a six-month vacation, I don’t have an income to cover it,” a recent rising sex symbol told the Hollywood Reporter. “I have no one to support me, and I have no one to turn to to pay my bills or seek help.”
“They don’t pay actors like they used to, and with streamers, you don’t get leftovers anymore,” Sweeney explained.
“The well-known stars are still getting paid, but I have to give 5 percent to my lawyer, 10 percent to my agents, 3 percent or something like that to my manager,” Nominated for an Emmy star shook.
“I have to pay my advertising clerk every month, and that’s more than the mortgage amount,” Sweeney continued. “If I just acted, I wouldn’t be able to afford my life in L.A. I’m taking deals because I have to.”

“We lived in one room. My mom and I shared a bed and my dad and little brother shared a sofa,” she recalls in profile, explaining that her family ended up living in a hotel.
The stress also put a strain on her mom and dad’s marriage, so Sweeney said she worked to fix it.
“I thought if I made enough money, I’d be able to buy back my parents’ house and I’d be able to get my parents back together,” she said. “But when I turned 18, I only had $800 in my name. My parents weren’t together anymore and there was nothing I could do to help.”
